Stella was named after my great grandma, Illene Stella, who was named after her mother, Stella. Her middle name is Rose after my other great grandma Rosella. Stella Rosella would be silly, so Stella Rose is what we ended up with. As soon as we had the name which was so antique and delicate, I knew I wanted to make her nursery reflect that. As she aged, I let her take the lead a little bit, but turns out she is a total girly girl and shes loved most of what we have already.

Decor

It was while nursing Stella that I discovered blogs, small shops, and instagram. Therefore, many of the items in her room are from small shops I fell in love with and wanted to support.

Organization

Stella is my girly girl FOR SURE. That means a lot of clothes. She has her dresser (labeled with post its of what goes inside) The dresser holds: underwear, socks, leggings (for under dresses), pjs, short sleeve shirts, long sleeve shirts, and sweaters/sweatshirts.

The closet dresser holds swim suits, tights/knee high socks, skirts and shorts for under them (summer), shorts and short sets, and pants and pant sets.

The cubes hold: short sleeve dresses for every day, long sleeve dresses for every day, and sports team clothes. Hanging is special even/theme clothes coming up, coats, and special even dresses) top hanging clothes is all the stuff she has yet to grow into. She has some bows and her American Doll that live in there as well as her Lavendar and Linen doll clothes. Pink box is for when we find something too small. The top bins hold: swaddles, and then the 3 sizes of zipadee zips as needed.
