Bucket List Basket-Family Fun for all seasons/holidays

A friend (The Modern Juggle) shared her Family Boo Basket (fall 2022) and it got met thinking the family aspect is really cool! It is kind of like a bucket list for halloween activities–and then the idea hit me! Family Bucket list baskets–for each season! Some is new, some is dug up from home, and all of it is from my all seasons bucket list. This way you can create a quick family bucket list for each holiday/season. The goal, use all the items in the bucket before the season is done! Idea videos, shopping links (if you don’t already have the items), and inspiration will be rolling in as the year goes on and then will be a resources for years to come!

Take all the things you HAVE to do, and make it into all the things you GET to do.

Bucket List Basket Cards (Shop HERE). I cut & laminate and put in the basket to use year after year. I try to take a photo of each event on the list as well and make a short little video clip of that month to keep the memories.

Supplies for getting started

New Year-New plans-New ideas-winter is long (January)

January brings new toys, new goals, organization attempts, and here LOTS of cold. These baskets are designed to get you situated and keep the littles busy. We purchased the little craft kits in target dollar spot. The rest we already had (new mittens came from santa) The snowman kit can easily be something you have at home but I do have to say this kit is amazing and pulling together a snowman quickly and with all the essentials and we love it.

Valentines- Family Love (February)

february valentines day bucket list basket

February is the season of love! A lot is based around the valentine projects at school, and the 100 day! Our art project doubles as the valentines’ day holder, but it could also be 100s day if your school does that! Don’t be afraid to double dip projects! The point is to have fun and make all the things you have to do into what you get to do!

March into spring (March)

March is spring in most places, here in Wisconsin it is TBD. That being said, we went with spring theme in hopes of catching a leprechaun and playing in spring weather. We already had most the items so we collected more than purchased this month, but I have linked similar options! I got the pancake molds and leprechaun trap in Target Dollar Spot (not linkable) in Feb 2023 if yours still has them!

Easter, Autism Love (April)
