Wisconsin sport bar area
While home during the safer at home order, we designed our perfect Wisconsin sports bar in the basement. In Wisconsin, it is very typical to have a basement. If your basement is finished, it is also common to have a bar/sports area as well. We had one but it needed a facelift and it better needed to accommodate an office and play area, and be Nolan proof.
Shelves & Barware
We got all of the glass and barware up out of Nolan’s reach on these amazing Hobby Lobby Galvanized Metal shelves
Refrigerators
We found a new glass front fridge at our local Restore, and then we were gifted one from our in-laws when they moved and no longer had a bar area. As you can see, they are fridge locked so Nolan doesn’t take the drinks out and leave the door open.
Tables
Grandpa made this beautiful but ridiculously heavy table with metal base. It was a scrapbooking table but it looked messy and Nolan kept stealing the scissors so we condensed that in the office and now this can hold the bird house/card box from our wedding and food if we have a party.
We made the DIY pub table, the tutorial can be found HERE
Fireplace
Our exact one is not online, but it is great as a space heater and to decorate as well. It makes the basement feel more homey for less money than having one installed. Here are some similar ones.
Art & Decor
Packer, Badger, and Brewer Decor has been collected over the years and displayed on the walls and on the fireplace mantle. The pieces of art under the lights are important ones including, our packer stock , autographed photos, and more.
The Winning sign was from Ella & Eve Rustic signs and they are no longer in business, but similar signs can be found on Pinterest/Etsy.
Nolan and Bryce both had newborn photos in a helmet, those are posted on the far wall, and the helmet itself is actually a halloween costume and is on the mantle.
The amazing print of grandpa by the flag over his table was done by the talented Rosaura Diaz. The Badger State print was from Sweet.Silhouette.co.
