Milk & Cookie Heaven! (Nolan is 7!) Birthday Party

We decided to make Nolan’s party all about Nolan’s favorite thing: Cookies! Cookies may be the most motivating thing for him to use his talker (AAC device). As seen on the invite, we can often catch him sneaking a cookie. Thus was born the “Milk & Cookie Heaven, Nolan is Seven!” party! We are doing a FIVER style party again this year. This is where guests bring $5 instead of a gift. It benefits Nolan who is uncomfortable opening gifts, it cuts down on the sitting time for him and guests, it is often cheaper than a gift and taking the time to find a gift for guests, and then we can put it towards something he needs. Invitation was created in Canva and the clip art added was from Etsy-DigitalArtsi.

Shirt

Nolan had this blue shirt (it came in a two pack from 100 day) and I purchased an Iron on patch from Etsy-PatchNation. A much cheaper route to go!

Decor

Using powerpoint and my clip art from Etsy-DigitalArtsi I created the signs. The font is HelloDoodlePrint. I used the skewer sticks to make my own centerpieces.

There weren’t many cookies and milk parties I could find that weren’t for a one year old so I took it upon myself to create just about everything. I used power point (though Canva would also work) and the clip art package. I made the cake topper, banners, tags, labels, and signs. I am really happy with how they turned out.

I got the backdrop from Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality especially for the price. It is more a fabric than plastic/paper which I appreciated.
