Rapunzel Tangled Birthday- And at last I see the lights

We celebrated Ms. Stella Rose in a Rapunzel themed birthday celebration! Safer at home orders have been lifted, but we still took many precautions. Stella was able to have an awesome time and celebrate being 4!

Precautions

Because safer at home was JUST lifted we wanted to take precautions to keep everyone there safe.

• As much of the party outdoors as possible.
• Plenty of seating to spread out and sit by household/family.
• Food served by one individual instead of everyone touching the serving tools
• Hand sanitizer throughout-table centerpieces, by food serving, and by the garage door (food was inside).
• Individual sized chip bags to avoid sharing/reaching in
• Juice boxes to avoid sharing drink dispensers
• Masks available
• Hot pizza prepared in a well maintained, high safety standards, CDC complying restraunt
• Cake was handmade, but frosting was store bought to help with safety standards.
• Stella blew out a cupcake which I ate to avoid blowing on the cake.
• Single use table cloths, plates, napkins, and utensils put out by one person (me) after washing hands.

Rapunzel themed activities

Rapunzel Video–
It was an unusually 90* day on the day of her party. To give everyone a break from the sun and heat, we went indoors and watched a video from Enchanting Events. Rapunzel got some basic information from us and then made a video wishing Stella a happy birthday. It was so personalized and perfect! Stella has watched it tons of times! Very high quality!

Lanterns–
In the movie Tangled, Rapunzel notices lanterns on her birthday each year. The whole movie she is trying to go see the lanterns. The song ” And at last I see the lights” plays when she gets to see them. For Stella’s birthday, we let off 1 (it was windy and we didn’t want to chance more, but we have many more!) while the song played.

Coloring Station-
We had a coloring station with personalized coloring pages, but to keep it safer due to Covid19, each child was getting their own crayon box in a favor bag with their name to do their own coloring.
