Chugga Chugga Two Two! Train themed second birthday

We celebrated our little guy turning two in a Choo Choo themed party. Chugga Chugga Two Two! Due to the continuing pandemic, we kept the party very small to our two families (with a face time of the out of town Godparents and Grandparents).

Invites – Gloudemans Central Station, Party Train!

I created the invites in Canva using the clipart I purchased. We actually ended up needing to move the party a few days due to an exposure quarantine, but it all worked out in the end!

Clothes

Cake – Fueling Station

We started with a Duncan Hines dairy free white cake and used Duncan Hines dairy free vanilla frosting. This made the cake totally dairy free for Bryce. I did 2 large 9″ and 2 small 7″ rounds. I used 3 boxes of cake mix.

My sister in law, Kaiti, came and decorated the cake. She smooth iced both cakes, used a star tip for grass, a and a thin pipe for the tracks.

We got our Chugga Chugga Two Two Topper from Etsy.

Drinks – Wet your Whistle

I used a drink dispenser I bought from Nolan’s first birthday. Mine is no longer available so I am linking a similar one. It is glass so I drew his RR crossing sign on it in permanent marker and will erase by coloring over it with dry erase marker.

Decor – Gloudemans Central Station, Baggage Drop off

Balloons, Table Cloths, Plates, Silverware, and Crazy Straws from Dollar Tree

Balloon Arch I am still using the same ribbon purchased for Bryce’s First birthday. This is it’s 4th party and still working great.

Using the same clip art form the invite, I found these free banners and used them to create the party decor

Favors- Baggage Claim

Bags were bought a couple parties ago so I can decorate to match any party theme and not have to reinvent the wheel each time!

I purchased the favors from Oriental Trading- These are not affiliate links but great prices.
