Stay at Home ZooKeeper Amazon & Target Purchases February 2021
Based on my Instagram stories there was an interest in monthly purchases made on Amazon & Target. I share what I got, links to the products, and a little review of the product.

Amazon
**I purchased these in January but they didn’t arrive until February because I chose the Amazon Delivery Day and earned $1 digital and used less boxes and carbon emissions with the items coming on one delivery day.**
Backpack– After our trip to Hawaii, I realized I needed a different kind of back pack. The purple one protected my lap top and was pretty, but it was too slim for my needs. I ripped a seam on the side trying to put too many things inside. If you know me, I am a notorious over packer so too slim of a backpack wasn’t going to fly. I went with Jansport because I know and trust the name. I picked the print as it was the cheapest print at the time. I do really like it though! I did make sure it had a laptop sleeve inside. At the time of this post (Saturday) it was 60% off.
Backpack organizer– I saw this on LoverlyGrey and knew it would take my back pack for all situations, pretty much replacing a diaper bag up a notch! I got tan which doesn’t look like its in stock currently.
Shelf Pegs– a couple of our shelves that have adjustable shelves have lost their pegs and were tipping. I found this multi-pack for a good price that will fix these and can be stored for future shelves.
Cheese Slicer-Our cheese slicer wire broke in half so it was time for a new one. I prefer to slice our cheese with this to keep the size consistent.
Satin Pillow Cases– Because Silk/Satin pillow cases have many benefits for the hair and face, I needed to get hew ones when we upgraded our pillows for Christmas. I purchased queen pillows and they came king size, so it took a couple pillow cases to find the right fit. These tan ones are our primary ones, the green will be for when we wash them. Tan is currently out of stock, but you can sign up for notifications when they are back. The third green ones fit well and I liked them, but they were not the right color for that room.
Bras- I am still in search of the perfect bralette I can wear with tanks. These are much cheaper than the target one I got last month. If they are even half as good, I think the purchase is worth it.
Cleaner & Gloves– You may be able to tell by the product, but I am beginning another home project and this was the first step in the project. I’ll share more as this project progresses. The gloves are to be used with this product
3M Cord bundlers– We use these to hold open our baby gate at the top of the stairs when it is not in use. The bottom broke off our old one (6 years old) so it was time to update.
Apple watch strap– I wanted to have a strap that was stretchy and comfortable for every day use.
Heart sweater – a great sweater to wear on Valentine’s day and beyond. It is light weight but long and very comfortable. I feel very good wearing this sweater. Though light weight, it was warm.
Muslin Quilt – Bryce needed a quilt for his bed. We liked this neutral pattern and the price couldn’t be beat.
Subscribe and Save
These are the items that are individually set to arrive on their own schedule. You pick the day of the month each month for them to come. Mine ended up being the 10th of ever month. You save varying percentages by signing up for subscribe and save. There is a starting savings, and you can unlock better savings when you have a certain amount of items. Some months we hit the max and some we do not.
Chewy Granola Bars Variety pack– All 3 kids love these. They are not the most nutritious, but they love them. It is a food Nolan actually eats so I run with it. We get this box once a month.
Coffee Pods – we tried a few flavors before we found this one. Alex and I both love it. We get 2 boxes a month (enough for us each to have about a cup a day).
Mio Water Enhancer– to give our kids “juice” with out the sugar and extras of juice, we use Mio water enhances. We get these 2 flavors every other month. Nolan drinks the orange. Stella drinks both interchangeably. For reasons I cannot explain, I was noticing more spit up (almost like it causes acid reflux) from Bryce when he had the orange, but I don’t notice it with the pink so he only gets pink.
Alaffia Kids Bubble Bath – This is the only bubble bath we use. It is good on their skin, I love the lavender soothing scent, and it has clean ingredients. It does not make me nervous to have this bubble bath with a little girl and there is no irritation with it.
Cascade Dishwasher Pods- Currently, these are the pods we have found to get our dishes clean the best. We get them about every 3 months.
Target
Cookie Jar– Nolan is a sweet thief so we have had to put the cookies/treats in a locked upper cabinet. Having all the cookies stacked was getting clunky, so I am streamlining with a cookie jar and we can take it down and give a cookie choice when it is the appropriate time. This matches all the other canisters we have gotten so if we can ever move it down, it matches.
Leggings & Dresses for Stella– Stella is finally moving up in size! I noticed her leggings were getting a little short, though they work I am slowly starting to up her wardrobe to the next size-3T. Dresses were also getting a little short.
Deodorant– I got this deodorant for the first time with a cash back offer from Influencer, and I have fallen in love and continue to purchase it. I purchased 2 more (also because I needed my order to get over $35 to ship the deodorant) Though I like the scent Achiever (and was my first purchase), Visionary is my new favorite and the one I got 2 of this time.
St. Patrick’s Day Shirts – I am sucker for matching holiday shirts. I try to stay a month ahead so they arrive on time. The boys will match this year (and likely wear for Earth day, too) because, why not? Stella was given choice of shirt or dress, naturally she chose dress.
Inspirational T-Shirts – I am all for motivating my kids and others for love, inclusion, and in themselves in what they wear. Target has great shirts that do this. These shirts for the boys were must haves.
Dr. Seuss Day– With Dr. Seuss’ birthday on March 2 AND the shirts can be inspirational (“Oh the places you will go!”) I had to have these.
