Make sure to have (especially if baby comes at night)

We use the bedtime routine stuff every night so I wrote what we need in permanent marker so we can grab quick (and even where the box is)

I also made a list of what bags we need for what place on an index card and put on our door.

Pets

If you have a pet, make sure you have a pet care as well. If they are staying home, have a list of a routine and supplies, if you are taking them somewhere, make sure to pack for them, too! This is a transition time for them, too–you are bringing them a new naked puppy to care for!

  • Food (and food dishes)
  • Water dishes
  • Meds?
  • Sleeping: crates, beds, familiar smelling blanket
  • Toys
  • Leash/collars
  • MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THEIR COLLARS WITH IDENTIFYING INFO & VACCINES ON THE ANIMAL
  • Make sure you have the vet number/address for your pet caregiver if they need to take them in (and that you authorize the caregiver to make the decisions.)
