There are many things that make you know you are a parent. We’ve had many of these moments- you wipe a nose with your shirt, catch vomit in your hands, know what a kid did by their face, know their needs by their cry, you talk about poop at the table likes it’s not gross, etc etc.
Our most recent?
Nolan unrolled an entire roll of toilet paper onto the floor and we completely just left it there and use some as you need it. Seriously. Before parenthood I would 1) never have a whole role on the floor and 2) never leave it there with no interest in rolling it back up and 3) just use it odd the pile watching it get smaller like a spring snowdrift 🤦🏻♀️
I swear, parenting makes us heathens, monsters, bodily fluid accepting, over tired zombies.
