As first time parents, we didn’t know what a typical 2 year old party was like, we had no idea (at the time) Nolan was starting to show signs of Autism at his second birthday. The differences in Stella’s Birthday were definitely significant (she was excited to play with kids, she sang to herself, she knew it was her birthday, she liked opening presents) but I know both my kids know they are loved, they are special, and turning 2 is a big deal!
Happy birthday to my sweet baby girl who is there for her brother, loves him endlessly, and is one excited 2 year old!
Stella was named after my Great Grandma-Granny (and her mom). When I was little Granny knew I loved unicorns so she would find me a unicorn every time I visited–even after I outgrew them they kept coming. When I saw unicorns making a comeback in popularity, I knew it would be the perfect party theme to remember Granny.
It ended up being colder and much windier than anticipated so the party had to be moved the not as pretty garage from our beautiful patio, but all the kids still had so much fun!
