Hospital bag(s)

For Mom:

- The Stella & Dot Getaway Bag is expandable (I wanted to bring it small so I could expand it for gifts and things we accumulate at the hospital). It is amazing and I love it!
- Robe & matching gown (also worn with leggings if you’re cold)–I got mine on special on Zulily but here is a similar one from Amazon
- 2 pairs black maternity leggings (I have had vaginal births. I have heard that c-section may want to have a lower waisted pant to go under incision. You may want a pair of these packed as well.
- 4 comfy/nursing friendly shirts (you want extras for spit up, milk leaks, extended stay, etc)
- Lillemer compresses (hot or cold) I got the ones with lavender as well.
- Nipple Cream The hospital provides but I wanted a more organic option.
-
- We have partnered with Mama Bear Organics so use code Siraya10 to get a discount on this organic option!
- Nursing Cover/Carseat Cover (I love that this one doubles and nursing and carseat. I get regular fit)
- 2 nursing bra(s)
- 1 pair underwear (I personally don’t mind the mesh to not get mine dirty, I do have 1 pair of regular just in case)
- socks–slipper socks, regular socks, just keep those feet warm
- flip flops for slip on walking and bathroom
Toiletries
- Travel size shower stuff (I brought Monat Samples I was able to worked with my consultant to get)
- Toothbrush/paste
- soap
- coconut oil to get epidural adhesive off my back–I love that this is a spray for easy application
- Loofa/scrubber–something more than a washcloth to aid the coconut oil in getting adhesive off my back
- deodorant
- chapstick (this is my personal favorite)
- hair tie (s)
- dry shampoo
- hairspray
- brush
- basic make up–it makes you feel human. Mine: eyebrows, eye liner, waterproof mascara
For Dad:
- 2 sweatshirts (Extra in case of spit up or other fluids get on it)–I personally needed the super cool button in our delivery room which made Alex very cold.
- 3/each socks & underwear (in case longer stay)
- Pjs
- 3 days worth of clothes
- blanket
- snacks
- caffeine
- book
- Laptop for movies, blogging, etc if we are not in an intense active labor. (and cords)
- Toiletries
- travel size shower stuff
- shaving
- deodorant
- toothbrush/paste
Electronics (in a bin)

- Phone charger
- Watch charger
- outlet extender
- Watch charger
- extension cord for phones (we do not have a 10ft cord, if you have the long cord you wont need this). I liked that this one had 3 prongs and was a surge protector if you brought technology that needed it.
For Baby:

Our diaper bag is currently a big backpack bag that fits the other 2 kids as well. I wanted a small diaper bag to bring:
- Coming home clothes in each gender
- Sleeper
- A couple onesies/pants if we are there a couple days.
- Chalkboard announcing name and stats
- Chalk
- Gender Announcement Banner
- Tape
- Photo Outfit
- Three Pines Company Slippers
- Socks
- Sweet as April Bonnet
- Headband/Hat
- Swaddle Blanket
- Paci Clip
- Ryan and Rose Paci (also available on Amazon)
- Some Snuggle items for pictures: Hartley, Snuggle Bunny
- Car Seat (infant inserts washed and put back in-still not expired from first baby–I have checked) Do not bring in until ready to leave hospital.
- Boppy
- Warm Blanket–April in Wisconsin is basically the potential to be winter–for lap in the car.
Sibling bag

- Presents
- Baby to bigs
- Bear to baby
- Sibling Outfit(s)
*** I don’t need to bring diapers, wipes, postpartum bleeding needs, etc because I’ve delivered at this hospital before and know these were provided.
